II FINAL POSTCLOSURE MAINTENANCE COSTS <br /> The annual cost to maintain the CHSL with the closure cap extension area will be <br /> approximately $88,000 per year (2011 dollars) (Table1). <br /> These costs reflect: <br /> • Annual Inflation factors issued by California Department of Resources, <br /> Recovery and Recycling (CalRecycle), compounded since 1995. <br /> • Addition of CHSL's LFG system operation and maintenance cost. <br /> • Increased closure surface area due to the extension of the closure cap in the <br /> northeast portion of the landfill. <br /> 1.0 REVEGETATION <br /> Initial costs escalated to 2011 dollars by CalRecycle inflation factors. Revegetation cost <br /> for the closure cap extension project is based on 12% percent proportional increase of <br /> the closure cap area. <br /> 2.0 LEACHATE MANAGEMENT <br /> Not applicable. <br /> 3.0 LANDFILL GAS MANAGEMENT <br /> 3.1 Landfill Gas (LFG) Monitoring/System Maintenance <br /> LFG monitoring and maintenance costs reflect actual charges to the County to <br /> operate and maintain this system. <br /> 3.2 Landfill Gas Collection <br /> LFG collection costs reflect actual charges to the County to operate and maintain <br /> this system. <br /> 4.0 GROUNDWATER MONITORING <br /> n <br /> Groundwater monitoring costs reflect actual charges to the County to operate and <br /> maintain this system (Table 1). <br /> 5.0 VADOSE ZONE MONITORING <br /> Postclosure Maintenance Plan Addendum San Joaquin County <br /> Corral Hollow Sanitary Landfill 7 Department of Public Works <br /> Revised October 6,2011 Solid Waste Division <br />
