We'd like to, with your agency's approval, use animals for vegetation
control at both the Harney Lane and Corral Hollow Sanitary Landfills. As discussed, we may
need to place about 100 head of cattle at the Harney Lane site to make an immediate impact.
With respect to the Corral Hollow site, we're exploring the use of sheep. At this time, we don't
know how many sheep we'd place. However, once we have that information, I'll let you know.
In addition, we plan to have animals at both sites throughout the year. Please let me know, if
this approach meets with your agency's approval so that we can implement it.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
Thank you.
Jaime L.
