(AGE) <br />has prepared this report of the abandonment/destruction of the soil vapr..r monitoring wells SGP -2 <br />& 7, at the referenced site. The soil vapor well locations are illustrated on Figure 1 - Vicinity JVfap. <br />Initially, the stove pipe well covers were removed. from each we'll.. An attempt was made to recover <br />all well casing from the wells, however the well screen from SGP -7 was not removable. The annular <br />space around the wells was then overdilled and backfilled with Portland cement grout. Soil vapor <br />well SGP -2 was overdrilled to a depth of 10 feet below surface grade (bsg), while well SGP -7 was <br />overdrilled to a depth of 15 feet bsg. A copy of photographs collected during tl-.ie investigation are <br />attached in Appendix A. <br />Upon your approval, AGE will transmit a copy of this letter to the San Joaquin County Public Health <br />Service - Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD).
