That the Proposed Negative Declaration/Expanded <br />Initial Study for.the City of Stockton (IS43-90), including all <br />measures required to be taken in mitigation of any and all negative <br />impacts as identified in IS43-90 and the related "Response to <br />Comments on IS43-9011, for the City of Stockton's application for <br />the proposed five (5) year permit review and approval of revisions <br />to the City of Stockton's Solid Waste Facilities Permit for the <br />French Camp Landfill Site located west of Interstate 5 freeway <br />between French Camp and Walker Sloughs, has been considered by the <br />City Council and is hereby approved as adequate based on the <br />following finding® <br />a. The City of Stockton has reviewed and <br />considered the Proposed Negative Declaration/ Expanded Initial Study <br />for the Proposed Project, as well as all related written and oral <br />comments received, and has determined that, subject to any <br />modifications and mitigation measures identified in the Expanded <br />Initial Study, as amended by the Response to Comments on IS43-90, <br />the project will not have a significant effect on the environment. <br />Basedon this finding, and with substantial <br />supporting evidence provided in the Expanded Initial Study and the <br />Response to Comments, the City of Stockton, hereby approves this <br />Negative Declaration for the proposed project. <br />2. That the Community Development Director, in <br />coordination with the Public Works Director, is hereby directed to <br />monitor the mitigation measures for the project that are identified <br />in IS43-90 and required in order to mitigate or avoid significant <br />effects on the environment, pursuant to Public Resources Code, <br />Section 21081.6, and report to the City Council regarding <br />compliance with those mitigation measures.
