Section 17680
pertains to Stockpile interfering with daily landfill operation. I do believe that an error has been
made in ascertaining us in violation with Section 17680. Section 17681 pertains to Availability
of Cover Material - "arrangement must be made by the site operator for sufficient quantity of
cover material ... if on-site sources of cover material are insufficient, whstaildation must be
shown to the Enforcement Agency that an adequate supply of cover material will be provided. "
As you know, three Purchase Orders dated .9/7/94, 11/08/94/ and 12/15/94 were shown you
during your inspection to meet this requirement. It has been approved and funding is available;
delivery of the dirt are in order pending weather conditions.
Your consideration and assistance is greatly appreciated.
