Box 2009 <br />Stockton, CA 95201 <br />Subject: State Inspection Report - French Camp Landfill, <br />Facility No. 39 -AA -0002 <br />Dear Ms. Herran: <br />California Integrated Waste Management Board (Board) staff <br />conducted an inspection of the French Camp Landfill on September <br />15, 1994, to assess compliance of the facility prior to <br />consideration of the proposed solid waste facilities permit <br />(SWFP) by the Board's Permitting and Enforcement Committee on <br />October 19, 1994. Carol Oz of your agency was present for the <br />inspection. The facility was evaluated for compliance with <br />applicable sections of the PRC and Title 14, California Code of <br />Regulations (CCR). Enclosed is a copy of the State Inspection <br />Report for your records. Please note that a copy has been <br />forwarded to the facility operator. <br />The following violations of Division 30 of the PRC and Title 14 <br />of the CCR were documented during the inspection: <br />PRC 44014(b) - SWFP Terms and Conditions <br />14 CCR 17607 - Periodic Site Review <br />14 CCR 17258.29 - Record Keeping <br />In addition, the following areas of concern were documented: <br />14 <br />CCR <br />17710 - <br />Grading of Fill Surfaces <br />14 <br />CCR <br />17709 - <br />Contact with Water <br />14 <br />CCR <br />17705 - <br />Gas Control <br />14 <br />CCR <br />17708 - <br />Drainage and Erosion Control <br />14 <br />CCR <br />17258.23 <br />- Gas Control <br />Please document the operator's progress in correcting the above <br />violations and areas of concern on your monthly SWIS inspection <br />reports.
