Box 2009 <br />Stockton CA 95201 <br />0 <br />NO V 4 2993 <br />ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH <br />PERMIT / SERVICES <br />FRENCH CAMP LANDFILL, ALTERNATIVE DAILY COVER (ADC), CITY OF <br />STOCKTON, FACILITY 439 -AA -0002 <br />Listed below is the following information required for the use of <br />the ADC geo-synthetic blanket at the French Camp Landfill. <br />1. Description of how the geo-synthetic blanket will be placed and <br />removed each day. <br />The blanket will be placed over the compacted greenwaste at <br />the end of each day by 2 landfill employees. Additional people <br />will be available if necessary to help place the blanket. A D- <br />7 dozer will be used as needed to put the blanket in place. <br />2. Contingency plan if blanket is torn and cannot be used by the <br />end of day. <br />All blankets will be repaired by sewing the torn areas or <br />repaired with "sail repair tape" or "duct tape". Gambi <br />Enterprise will have any torn areas repaired by the end of the <br />day. If for some reason, the blanket(s) are beyond repair <br />additional blankets will be available on-site and at Austin <br />Road Landfill to ensure the working face is completely covered <br />at day end. <br />3. Location of dirt stockpile and storage of blankets. <br />Additional dirt will be imported and stockpiled in the present <br />location. On windy days, the blanket will be held down with <br />tires placed around the blanket perimeter. Dirt cover material <br />will be used only when the tires cannot properly secure the <br />blanket over the greenwaste. <br />The blankets used for daily cover will be placed adjacent to <br />the active working area and the back-up blankets will be <br />stored in the metal storage unit located on the landfill. <br />"STOCKTON ...
