Box 2009 <br />Stockton, CA 95201 <br />RE: Austin Road Landfill and French Camp Landfill <br />San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division (EHD) has recently submitted a <br />solid waste facility permit for both the Austin Road Landfill and the French Camp <br />Landfill to the California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB). Public <br />Resources Code •50000-50002 requires all permitted solid waste facilities to be in <br />compliance with its jurisdiction's General Plan. CIWMB has requested a letter from <br />your Department stating that both the Austin Road Landfill and the French Camp <br />Landfill are in compliance with the Stockton City General Plan. <br />Your immediate response will be appreciated since both landfills are scheduled for <br />public hearings in Sacramento beginning on June 23, 1993.
