Box 388 • Stockton, CA 95201-0388 <br /> January 21, 1997 209/468-3420 <br /> Mike Gray c/o CDM <br /> 100 Pringle Avenue, Suite 300 <br /> Walnut Creek, CA 94596 <br /> Re: Monitoring Wells for French Camp Landfill <br /> As per our telephone conversation of this morning, well <br /> construction shall conform with San Joaquin County (SJC) Well <br /> Standards, the following information is required in order to <br /> process your permits: <br /> 1) Provide the information as requested for the sub- <br /> contractor preforming the work (handout enclosed) , <br /> including Contractor License, Worker's Compensation <br /> Policy, and California Licensed Contractor <br /> Questionnaire. <br /> 2) Disposal of the drill cuttings at the active face of <br /> the landfill shall be approved by the Enforcement <br /> Agency prior to work beginning. <br /> 3) Sewer, water and any utility lines shall be located on <br /> the work plan prior to work being done. <br /> 4) Subsurface investigation reports and all analytical <br /> data obtained in the course of the permitted <br /> investigation shall be submitted to this Department, <br /> and other appropriate regulatory agencies, upon <br /> completion. <br /> 5) Revise well detail, (submitted at time of application) <br /> to show bottom of the well casing as capped or plugged, <br /> as required in SJC Well Standards Section 13 . 8. 6.2 . <br /> If you have any questions please contact Steven Mindt, Sr. REHS, at <br /> (209) 468-0343 of my staff. <br /> Ernest M.
