1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> On behalf of Forward, Inc. (Forward), GeoLogic Associates (GLA)prepared this <br /> monitoring report for the French Camp Landfill,located on Manthey Road in San <br /> Joaquin County, California. This report was prepared in compliance with the <br /> requirements of the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) <br /> Monitoring and Reporting Program Order No.R5-2004-0159. This quarterly report <br /> presents the results of water quality monitoring and summarizes field activities completed <br /> ' at the French Camp Landfill from April 1 through June 30, 2006 (second quarter 2006). <br /> Monitoring Network <br /> The detection monitoring program (DMP)network at the French Camp Landfill currently <br /> includes six groundwater monitoring wells, four piezometers, two leachate monitoring <br /> wells, and three surface water monitoring stations. The locations of the DMP network <br /> stations are depicted in Figure 1 and summarized on the following table. <br /> Monitoring Point Monitoring Point I.D. <br /> DMP Groundwater Monitoring MW-6A,MW-7A <br /> Wells—Background <br /> DMP Groundwater Monitoring MW-8A,MW-9A,MW-9B,MW-l0A <br /> Wells—Compliance <br /> Piezometers MW-3,MW-4,MW-5,MW-7B <br /> Leachate Monitoring Wells MW-1A, -2 <br /> Surface Water Stations SW-1,SW-2,and SW-3 <br /> 2.0 STANDARD OBSERVATIONS <br /> During the second quarter 2006, the California Integrated Waste Management Board <br /> �' g <br /> (CIWMB) conducted site inspections at the French Camp Landfill on April 27, May 19, <br /> and June 21, 2006. No notices of violation(NOV)were issued for the French Camp <br /> Landfill. Completed inspection forms are presented in Appendix A. <br /> ' Weekly site visits were conducted by French Camp Landfill personnel during the second <br /> quarter 2006. Records of the French Camp Landfill inspections are on file at the Allied <br /> Waste Forward Landfill Field Office, and weekly site visit summary reports for the <br /> second quarter 2006 are also presented in Appendix A. According to these weekly <br /> reports, the French Camp Landfill Operations Manager certifies that standard <br /> observations were conducted during the reporting quarter(see signed "Certification <br /> Statement"located inside cover page, after the Table Of Contents in this report). <br /> Inspection reports noted on-going closure construction and no areas of concern at the <br /> ' French Camp Landfill <br /> 3.0 SOLID WASTE MONITORING <br /> During the second quarter 2006 the French Camp Landfill did not receive waste <br /> (Appendix A) and is in the process of the final cover construction for closure. <br /> D:\2003_021WC,p06.d. <br /> 1 Geologic Associates <br />
