The results of water quality analyses completed for surface-water monitoring stations are
generally consistent with previous results. During the monitoring period, VOCs related to
drinking water disinfection (disinfection byproducts; trihalomethanes) were detected at low
concentrations in upgradient and downgradient surface water stations. Since quantifiable
concentrations of these VOCs were measured in the sample from SW-3, the RWQCB was
notified of the non-statistical exceedance at SW-3 in a letter dated June 23, 2014. Confirmation
sampling was performed in June 2014. No other VOCs were detected and the results for
upstream and downstream samples are generally similar.
I certify under penalty of law, that I have personally examined and am familiar with the
information submitted in this document and all attachments, and that based on my inquiry of
those individuals immediately responsible for obtaining this information, I believe that the
information is true, accurate, and complete.
