Water Quality Monitoring Report
French Camp Landfill
provided inTable 2for comparison with current monitoring data. The following table presents
constituents that were found toexceed aCL:
CONSTITUENT CONCENTRATION DMP MONITORING WELLS
GENERAL CHEMISTRY(mg/L)
Chloride 249
340 330
NOTES: Background Well.
xshaded cell indicates that the current value was measured below the CL.
Only constituents that exceeded voampmvmeumthemmeaume. m/cLspmnnwueumramoz.
4.4.2 Non-Statistical Data Analysis
The non-statistical VOC water analyses were performed on the DIVIP well data collected during
the monitoring period. Non-statistical exceedancesvvere identified at wells MW-6A and MW-
9A. These enceedances are the result of quantifiable concentrations of chloroform and
trich|ormf|uoronnethane (TCFK4) measured in xve||s K4VV-6 and MW-9A, respectively.
Confirmation sampling was not performed since these compounds have already been
confirmed in each respective well. The TCFIVI concentration measured in well K4VV'9Aiswell
below risk-based concentrations and continues to exhibit decreasing concentrations. Given the
Aft distance of well IVIW-6A from the landfill (approximately 0.25 miles upgradient), the chloroform
concentrations measured in well MW-6A-6Ais not believed to be the result ofa release from the
landfill.
In order to evaluate changes in water quality in DK4P vveUu at the French Camp Landfill, 5en's
Slope trend analyses were performed for those constituents exceeding a CL. During the
monitoring period, no statistically significant increasing temporal trends were calculated for
constituents exceeding a CL and current concentrations measured in these wells within the
historical range ofvalues for these wells. Trend analyses are presented inAppendix D.
4.5 Leachate Monitoring
The laboratory results for leachate monitoring well IVIW-2 are summarized in Table 3. As shown
on Table 3, noVOCs were detected in leachate monitoring well K4VV-3 during the monitoring
period.
4.6 Surface Water Monitoring
Field and laboratory results for surface water monitoring stations (SVV'1, SVV-J, and SVV'S) for
the current monitoring period are summarized inTable 4and time-series concentration plots
are presented in Appendix O. Stations SW-1 and SW-2 are located upstream of the landfill
within the Walker and French Camp Sloughs (respectively) and are used as background
sampling points. Station SW-3 is located downstream of the landfill at the confluence of the
Project No.zOz6.OnO7 4
