CalRecycle <br />Closed Disposal Site Inspection Report (188) <br />THE ABOVE FACILITY WAS INSPECTED FOR COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE SECTIONS OF THE DMSION 30 OF THE POMC RESOURCES CODE (PRC) AND TITLE 14 AND TIRE 27 CALIFORNIA CODE OF REGULATIONS (CCR) I <br />- Site Maintenance <br />Well GW -10 did not function as intended. <br />a. Adjust the well head. <br />b. Put the new lock. <br />I x 120934 - Reporting I <br />Comments: The second semester and annual 2011 groundwater and surface water monitoring report was not <br />submitted to the EHD. <br />a. Submit report within 30 days of receiving this inspection report. <br />I x 121150 - Drainage and Erosion Control I <br />Comments: Erosion channels were observed on the southwest side of the secondary site and the northwest side <br />of the primary site. Continuation of AC from the last inspection. <br />Abundant vegetation had grown in perimeter drainage on the northwest side of the primary site and southwest <br />side of the secondary site. <br />Make necessary repairs of erosion channels and take measures to prevent future waste exposure. <br />Provide adeauate drainaqe of runoff for the entire site. <br />Notes: <br />A. The landfill gas extraction flare was operating at time of inspection. <br />B. Concentrations of gas probe measured the following for methane%: GW 4 - Shallow -0.0, Intermediate - 0.2, Deep - <br />0.4; GW 9 - 0.0 (all three probes); GW 1 - 0.0 (all three probes). <br />C. According to operator installation of chain link fence on the west side of the landfill is scheduled for April 2012. <br />D. Operator should maintain the vegetation at a minimum to prevent surface fires from taking place which could cause a <br />threat to public health and safety and the environment, <br />E. New small burrow holes observed on the west side of the secondary site. Make the necessary repairs to the burrow <br />holes and take measures to prevent further burrowing. <br />F. Previous AC cleared. <br />
