Make necessary repairs of erosion channels and take measures to prevent future waste exposure. <br />Notes: <br />A. The landfill gas extraction flare was operating at time of inspection. <br />B. Concentrations of gas probe measured the following for methane%: GW 4 - Shallow -0.0, Intermediate - 0.5, Deep - <br />0.6; GW 9 - 0.0 (all three probes); GW 11 - 0.0 (all three probes). <br />C. New fence along west side of the landfill has been installed. However, small portion of fence on the west side at the <br />front gate needs to be repaired. <br />D. New small burrow holes observed on the west and east sides of the secondary site. Make the necessary repairs to the <br />burrow holes and take measures to prevent further burrowing. <br />E. Small amount of litter observed near labor camp boundary. Remove litter for proper disposal. <br />F. Observed grading activities on the east slope of the primary side during inspection. <br />G. Operator should maintain the vegetation at a minimum to prevent surface fires from taking place which could cause a <br />threat to public health and safety and the environment. <br />H. The soil gas monitoring well upgrade project at Harney Lane Sanitary Landfill was completed on April 26, 2012. <br />J. Previous AC's cleared. <br />
