' ( ` P <br />or Areas of Concern t a, <br />NOW" <br />`. <br />Iii <br />+t., <br />x 20750 - Site Maintenance <br />Comments: Some of the landfills areas were covered by overgrown vegetation which had made it impossible to <br />determine whether the cover was intact and functioning as it should. The overgrown vegetation could pose a fire <br />hazard, especially with summer approaching. <br />a. Operator should maintain the vegetation at a minimum, so that site cover inspection could easily be conducted <br />and to prevent surface fires from taking place which could cause a threat to public health and safety and the <br />environment <br />x <br />20650 - Grading of Fill Surfaces <br />Comments: Depressions observed during last inspection have been repaired, however, new depression <br />observed at the south side of the primary site. <br />Continuation of AC from the last inspection. <br />a. Repair depression. <br />x <br />20820 - Drainage and Erosion Control <br />Comments: Large burrow holes were observed on the west side of the secondary site. <br />a. The landfill gas extraction flare was operating at time of inspection. <br />B. Concentrations of gas probe measured the following for methane%: GW 4 - Shallow -0.0, Intermediate - 0.3, Deep - <br />0.3; GW 3 - Shallow -0.0, Intermediate — 0.1, Deep — 1.5; GW 1 - 0.0 (all three probes); GW 11 (all three probes). <br />C. The EHD received Certification of Applicability of Postclosure Maintenance Estimate from the Operator on January 3, <br />2014. No changes to the Postclosure Maintenance Plan (Previous AC cleared). <br />D. All erosion channels observed during the last inspection have been repaired (Previous AC cleared <br />
