Example: Apply 1990 inflation <br /> factor to 1989 total cost estimates. <br /> REMINDER: The effective date of Title 40 Code of Federal Regulations, Subtitle D, Part 258.70 through 258.74 has been <br /> extended to April 9, 1997. Among other provisions, the federal regulabons require operators to demonstrate financial <br /> assurance for 30 years of postclosure maintenance.
