The County used the Gas Tech Landfill Monitor landfill gas <br /> instrument which was calibrated with standard Gas Tech gas canisters according to <br /> manufacturer's specifications. The first fifteen structures nearest to the landfill and the vents <br /> from the first two structures were tested for methane. All of the structures and vents <br /> measured 0.0 percent of Lower Explosive Limit. <br /> The next monitoring event will be performed in October 1998.
