This report is submitted in <br /> compliance with waste discharge requirements (WDR) order no. 87-088, <br /> issued by the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central <br /> ' Valley Region. The site is located in northern San Joaquin County on Har- <br /> ney Lane as shown on Figure 1 . Presented below is a discussion of <br /> ground-water and surface-water monitoring, a description of the analytical <br /> ' results, and a discussion of ground-water flow direction and velocity. <br /> MONITORING PROGRAM <br /> ' Ground- and surface-water monitoring was conducted at the Harney Lane <br /> Sanitary Landfill consistent with WDR order no. 87-088 and with EMCON <br /> ' Associates' November 27, 1992, proposal to perform ground-water and <br /> surface-water monitoring at four county of San Joaquin landfills. <br /> ' The ground-water monitoring well network consists of background well <br /> MW-1 and downgradient wells MW-2, MW-3, and MW-4; the locations of <br /> the ground-water monitoring wells are shown on Drawing 1. Ground-water <br /> ' samples were collected on August 3, 1992. <br /> Surface-water samples from South Paddy Creek above the detention <br /> ' basin inlet and at the point of discharge into South Paddy Creek from the <br /> detention basin are to be collected after the first runoff producing rainfall of <br /> pj9\939\9390111 c <br />
