We recommend that the revised CQA Plan
procedure for barrier construction is to be used with the following exception. The barrier layer
may be constructed in a single-lift process provided compaction is performed by a CAT 825C
sheepsfoot compactor, or equivalent, with a minimum of 14 passes at a moisture content of at
least 3 percent over optimum.
GSM:md 13/94
Copyright 1994 KLeinfelder, Inc.
