® Groundwater samples are analyzed annually for the following additional parameters: <br /> • Sulfates <br /> • Bicarbonate Alkalinity <br /> • Nitrate— Nitrogen <br /> • Chloride <br /> • Calcium <br /> • Magnesium <br /> • Potassium <br /> • Sodium <br /> Groundwater samples are analyzed every 5 years for the following constituents of concern <br /> (COC): <br /> • Volatile Organic Compounds (EPA 624) <br /> • Semi Volatile Organic Compounds <br /> • Organochlorine Pesticides, PCBs <br /> • Chlorophenoxy Herbicides <br /> • ICP Metals (26 metals) <br /> CDCs were last taken during the first semester 2009. The next groundwater COC monitoring <br /> event will occur in the first semester of 2014. Monitoring well elevations are taken quarterly. <br /> Surface Water <br /> Surface water samples are collected after the first storm of the rainy season that produces <br /> significant flow and semiannually thereafter when water is flowing. Samples are collected from <br /> monitoring point S-1 (upstream) and monitoring point S-2 (downstream) of the landfill (Figure 2). <br /> Surface water samples are analyzed for the following semiannually monitoring and field <br /> parameters: <br /> • Temperature • VOCs <br /> • EC • Total Alkalinity <br /> • pH 0.
