The Report was prepared by Clayton Group
Services, Inc. on behalf of the Discharger. The Report provided monitoring well installation
data, groundwater and soil vapor analysis, tables, figures, and supporting text for the January
2007 sampling and well installation event. The Report was a requirement of Cleanup and
Abatement Order (CAO) No. R5-2006-0707.
Based on staffs review, the Report was well organized and clearly presented the well
installation, sampling, and analysis. Staff notes that two pieces of information were not
included in the report: the well survey data and the laboratory's method detection limits
(MDLs) were omitted. Staff requests that the following data be submitted by 30 April 2007:
1. Please submit revised laboratory reports showing the MDLs.
2. Please provide the survey data (horizontal and vertical) for the new wells (MW -2A,
MW -3A, and MW -9A).
The Discharger may submit the information via email, if preferred. Once the above -listed
information is provided, staff will consider the monitoring well installation report and the two
groundwater/soil gas sampling reports complete. However, the Discharger has not submitted
the vadose plume and monitoring system evaluations, both requirements of the CAO.
California Environmental Protection Agency
0 Recycled Paper
