Construction of the final cover shall be carried out after Regional Board concurrence on the <br />Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) Plan. The CQA Plan shall be prepared in accordance <br />with Title 27, California Code of Regulations, Division 2, Sections 20323 and 20324. <br />3. Monitoring wells MW -9 and MW -10 will be abandoned to facilitate construction of the cover. <br />These wells will be replaced after construction. A monitoring well installation workplan shall be <br />submitted to the Regional Board as part of the CQA Plan. <br />4. The report states that the initial round of sampling will include analyzes for volatile organic <br />compounds (VOCs) and semi -VOCs using USEPA Methods 8260B and 8270C, respectively. <br />However, the initial round should include the full suite of VOCs and semi -VOCs analyze using <br />USEPA Method 8260 and 8270. Attachment A lists the VOCs and semi -VOCs that should be <br />included. <br />5. Figure l OB, the cross sections of the landfill area, needs to be revised and resubmitted to include <br />the following: minimum two -foot foundation layer, depth of waste and groundwater elevations. <br />California Environmental Protection Agency <br />0 Recycled Paper <br />
