The letter proposed that insitu geotechnical samples <br />would be obtained during and after construction of the landfill cover, that the slope stability <br />analysis would be prepared after construction was completed, and that any repairs and/or <br />modifications would be performed to achieve the stability requirements of Title 27 Section <br />21090(a)(6). <br />The proposed schedule for submittal of the slope stability analysis has received provisional <br />concurrence from the Regional Water Board staff based on the following conditions: <br />The slope stability analysis will be performed as soon as possible, according.to the <br />requirements of Title 27 Sections 21145 and 21750(f)(5)—(f)(D), and prior to December <br />31, 2006. <br />2. The slope stability analysis will be submitted to the Regional Water Board for <br />concurrence. <br />3. All required repairs or modifications would be made to meet the factor of safety for the <br />critical slope under dynamic conditions. <br />4. Proposed repairs and/or modifications must receive concurrence from the Regional <br />Water Board prior to initiating them. <br />5. All repairs and/or modification will be made immediately after determining that the <br />installed cover does not meet the requirements, provided that the Regional Water <br />Board approved the repairs/modifications. <br />California Environmental Protection Agency <br />Ca Recycled Paper <br />
