Box 388 <br />Stockton, CA 95201 <br />L' <br />PLANT: <br />2403 Louise Avenue • Manteca, California 95337 <br />209 / 239-446 - Fax 209 / 239-5456 <br />Subject: Biorecycling Technologies Inc., Site Restoration Plan <br />City of Manteca <br />Dear Mr. Padilla: <br />On September 24th, 1997 the City of Manteca imposed a Closure Plan on BTI's <br />Composting Facility located at 2403 West Louise Avenue, Manteca, CA 95337. <br />Therefore, according to Composting Operations and Facilities Regulatory Requirements, <br />BTI is hereby providing the enforcement agency written notice of intent to perform site <br />restoration at the above location. <br />Restoration will include: <br />A) Written notice of intent to perform site restoration at least 30 days prior to <br />beginning site restoration. <br />B) BTI shall provide site restoration necessary to protect public health, safety and the <br />environment. <br />C) BTI shall ensure that the following restoration procedures are performed upon <br />completion of operations and termination of service: <br />1) The operations and facility grounds shall be cleared of composted materials <br />And other materials related to the operations <br />2) All machinery shall be cleaned and removed. <br />Biorecycling Technologies Inc. will be available as needed to answer additional <br />questions.
