Box 388
Stockton, Ca. 95201-0388
Re: 2801 E. Louise Ave., Manteca, Ca.
Dear Al,
This letter is a response to your letter of July 17, 1995, No-
tice and Order to Abate at above property.
The premises that are enclosed by the cyclone fencing have been
secured as best as possible by repairing holes in the fence and
repairing and reinforcing the entry gate. Mr. Rouse has hired
a young man to watch the property on a regular basis. (Alan Bie-
derman met him on the inspection that took place 5/31/95.) Add-
itionally, the sheriff has placed one of their own padlocks on
the entry gate so that deputies can get into the property at
any time. These actions have significantly reduced the number
of trespassers on the property.
The office building that is located near Louise Ave. that has
been partially demolished has been scheduled for demolition for
the last mont. Mr. Rouse has already made the deposit of 1/3.
the contract price. However, conflicts have prevented the con-
tractor, Mr. Phil Vallejo of Central Valley Construction, from
completing the job in a timely manner. I have been assured for
the unpteenth time that the work will be done this week. If it
does not get done, I would ask that you call Mr. Vallejo at 983-
1064 and also express your displeasure at the pace of completion.
I have contacted a wrecking yard in Manteca about removing the
abandoned vehicle. The removal should also take place this week.
You are probably aware of the use permit application of Weaver
Ind. for this property. Because of their water needs we will
be determining which, if any, of the existing wells can be used
by them. If a well is not going to be used, it will be proper-
ly abandoned. Likewise, the existing buildings will all be used
in their operation and will just need some repairs to be usable
again. I would suspect that any of your remaining concerns will
be addressed in the use permit conditions.
