FIRE FIGHTING EQUIPMENT <br /> Fire hydrants and hoses are available on site to put out any possible fires. <br /> Each piece of equipment has a fire extinguisher and the Lodi Fire Department is <br /> available if needed. The location of fire fighting equipment and fire hydrants are <br /> shown in site plan (see Figure 11-2). <br /> F. PROTECTION OF USERS <br /> Signs are provided to direct the flow of traffic. Spotters and shift <br /> supervisors direct traffic and facility operations in an effort to reduce potentially <br /> dangerous situations from occurring. Visitors to the site are required to park in <br /> designated parking areas adjacent to the administration building to avoid <br /> circulation conflict with trucks. <br /> G. SAFETY EQUIPMENT <br /> All composting personnel are equipped with safety equipment such as: <br /> hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, dust masks, and ear protection. In addition, <br /> portable radios are available for equipment operators to communicate with <br /> ground crew personnel to minimize accidents. California Waste Recovery <br /> Systems has safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working <br /> environment for all their personnel. <br /> H.
