This material comes into the site
periodically and is shipped offsite every week. The sheetrock is not mixed with anything or processed onsite.
The site has other operations, which are not covered by the permit, such as mixing and painting wood mulch.
They also bring finished compost in to mix with other materials.
I think we should be using the CDI inspection report CIWMB 213 (?) instead of the compost inspection report.
Garrett
From: Kennedy, Keith [mailto:KKennedy@CIWMB.ca.gov]
Sent: Friday, July 14, 2006 12:05 PM
To: Garrett T. Backus [EH]
Subject: Sierra Organics
TGIF. According to info in our SWIS database this site is listed as a limited volume transfer operation. I believe
since they take sheet rock. However, the inspection report is for a composting site. Are they mixing the sheet
rock with organic material and composting? Just happened to notice.
Thanks Garrett.
Keith
7/14/2006
