GIOWELL <br /> BRANDS <br /> SAFETY PROCEDURAL GUIDELINES FOR PREVENTION <br /> HIGH TEMPERATURES IN BULK PILES. <br /> 1.)Use two temperature thermostats to compare the difference on each one to <br /> make sure they read similar. <br /> 2.)Calibrate each thermostat weekly by putting them in ice water for about 15 <br /> minutes to make sure they read 32 degrees, and write down temperature <br /> reading in folder for our record. <br /> 3.)Check piles temperature twice a week with calibrated thermostats to make <br /> sure piles are not over 122 degrees. <br /> 4.)Rotate hot piles with Cat roll out bucket loaders to maintain cool <br /> temperatures and to keep them from becoming a fire hazard. <br /> 5.)Write down and keep weekly temperature records on a folder to monitor <br /> which piles are getting hot. <br /> 6.)If you have any questions regarding any of the above procedures please feel <br /> free to ask any member of management. <br /> EMPLOYEE NAME: Age <br /> lb V <br /> SIGNATURE : -49& DATE:,y,®Z-- <br />
