AC T14 CCR 17408.8- Protection of Users- An old refrigerator was observed in U Waste and Appliance recycling area to have <br />the door attached with latch intact. <br />Remove doors and/ or latches from refrigeration appliances for public safety. <br />2.) AC T14 CCR 17408.6- Maintenance -Two partitions of east wall of MRF building remain pushed in a convex manner outward <br />toward commercial tipping area. <br />Repair or replace portions of wall appropriately. An estimate for repairs has been submitted to the Department. <br />Notes: <br />A. Previous violations for on going release of oil from refuse vehicle crusher gate and open plastic 5 -gallon bucket observed <br />holding petroleum fuel noted in parking lot west of green waste operations where vehicle dismantling operations had been <br />taking place have been cleared. <br />B. Previous Area of Concern for load checking records, customer tracking and load checking is being performed and <br />documented every day. MRF does not usually operate on weekends. <br />C. Records are up to date. Load checking records are thorough and well documented. <br />D. Amendment to TPR is due. Subjects include, but are not limited to, update U -waste program plans, public tipping and storage <br />of cardboard outside MRF, load checking frequency for all incoming waste per Permit item 17.)- LEA Conditions (G), <br />storage of plastic bags outside MRF for baling operation, and appropriate signage for changes to operations. <br />E. Rodent bait station at center north door of MRF contains bait but lacked tag from Pest Control Service to document date. <br />Rodent bait station at north wall of Transfer Station building was opened and it was evident that bait is being eaten. <br />F. In -bound public vehicles were observed entering site without tarps over refuse. Increase public awareness of Vehicle Code <br />for proper covering of refuse in vehicles on public roadways. <br />G. Collection areas for U waste, oil, and universal waste inside MRF were in good order. Collection bins were secure and <br />labeled properly. <br />H. Refuse had been pushed up against wall underneath Fire hose near Door C of MRF. Keep areas around fire prevention <br />devices clear at all times. <br />
