electric/hydraulic compactor system. When the compactor <br /> container has been filled a truck hauls it to the City <br /> of Stockton Austin Road Landfill. After processing has <br /> been completed the reusable materials, either in high <br /> density bales or in bulk storage containers, are stored <br /> in an enclosed paved area awaiting truck load shipment <br /> to market. <br /> A tub grinder for chipping of recyclable wood has been <br /> installed, it deposits the material behind the grinder <br /> into trucks or trailers for transportation to energy <br /> plants for sale. <br /> G. Hazardous waste such as batteries or oil shall be handled <br /> in a manner approved by the Enforcement Agency or the <br /> Board. <br /> H. East Stockton Transfer and Recycle Station has <br /> implemented a waste load checking program in response to <br /> state laws which prohibit the processing of hazardous <br /> wastes at the facility. <br /> Customers have been notified of what are considered <br /> hazardous wastes and that they are to be excluded from <br /> the facility' s solid waste mainstream. The entrance of <br /> East Stockton Transfer and Recycle Station is posted <br /> prohibiting the disposal of hazardous wastes at the <br /> facility. The monitoring program reroutes materials <br /> which are considered hazardous to their appropriate <br /> disposal sites. Video cameras have been installed to <br /> increase efficiency of the solid waste monitoring. <br /> Additional measures may be required upon the request of <br /> the (LEA) , Local Enforcement Agency or the Board. <br /> I. Anticipated changes in design and operation in the next <br /> five years are: <br /> a. Expand the waste paper products operations by <br /> re—arranging existing facilities and initiating <br /> procedures for on—site purchase direct from the <br /> public. <br /> b. To proceed with the development and <br /> installation of a high density baling system <br /> for non—recoverable wastes. <br /> J. Hours of Operation: <br /> Weekdays : 7:30 A. M. to 5:00 P.
