CITY OF STOCKTON <br />PUBLIC NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY/P BLIC MEETING <br />DRAFT EIR OR PROPOSED NEGATIVE DECLAR4T1ON11NM.AL_SV_tDY_�L <br />(Pursuant to Public Resources Code Sections 21092 and 21092.3 and <br />Cal. Code of Regulations Title 14, Sections 15072, 15073 and 15087) <br />The City of Stockton Community Development Department has completed, independently <br />reviewed and analyzed the following (Proposed Negative Declaration/initial Study or <br />Environmental Impact Report: <br />1 CITY OF STOCKTON AND ROBERT RONYAK, ET AL (IS17-95) - City -initiated <br />General Plan amendment from Low/Medium-Density Residential to Industrial for <br />that area bounded to the north by the Southern Pacific Railroad Tracks, the east <br />by Filbert Street, the south by the divisional alley located between Weber Avenue <br />and Myrtle Street, and the west by A Street; and the request of Robert Ronyak, <br />et al for a rezoning from M-1, Light Industrial District, to M-2, Heavy Industrial <br />District, and a Use Permit for a Solid Waste Transfer Station and Recycling <br />Center on property at 2435 East Weber Avenue. <br />A copy of the Draft EIR or Proposed Negative Declaration/initial Study may be reviewed and/or <br />obtained at the following address: <br />Community Development Department <br />Planning Division <br />345 North El Dorado Street <br />Stockton, CA 95202 <br />Any written comments on this document must be received at this same address no later than <br />Monday. June 10. 1996 at 5:00 p.m. Further information may be obtained by contacting the <br />City Planning Division at (209) 937-8266. <br />The Planning Commission will consider this Draft EIR or Proposed Negative Declaration/initial <br />Study at their meeting of July 11, 1996 at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers, second floor, City <br />Hall, 425 North El Dorado Street. Anyone wishing to be heard on the issue may appear before <br />the City Planning Commission at the time of the public meeting and/or may file a written opinion <br />with the City Planning Division, Permit Center, Stockton, prior to the public meeting. <br />All proceedings before the City Planning Commission are conducted in English. The City of <br />Stockton does not furnish interpreters and if one is needed, it shall be the responsibility of the <br />person needing one. <br />If you challenge the proposed action in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues <br />you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written <br />correspondence delivered to the Planning Commission, at, or prior to, the public meeting.
