This requirement shall not apply to: <br /> 1 Facilities using fewer than 5000 waste tires for agricultural purposes and those <br /> tires have been altered. <br /> 2. Facilities storing less than 500 waste tires. <br /> 3. Facilities storing waste tires indoors in accordance with "The Standard for <br /> Storage of Rubber Tires", National Fire Protection Association, NFPA 23113- <br /> 1989 edition. <br /> 4.
