O. Box 2009
Stockton, CA 95201
Subject: Draft Permit for the East Stockton Transfer and
Recycling Station, Facility No. 39-AA-0018
Dear Ed:
I have reviewed the draft permit for the East Stockton Transfer
and Recycle Station. I have found the draft permit is consistent
with the requirements of the Board. Please consider the
following comments in preparing the proposed permit.
1. The parcel on the south side of Weber Avenue can only be
used for equipment storage and truck parking, as this area
was not included in the original permit. Any waste disposal
activities in the south parcel would require a permit
revision. The permit should restrict operations to the
original northern parcel.
2 . Please include a permit cover sheet. A copy is attached
3 . Comments on the permit content
a. Findings
Include the name of owner and operator.
Any subcontractors?
- The boundary description should be precise.
(delete "approximate") .
Please specify how batteries and used oil will be
handled. Include where and how they will be stored and
the maximum storage time allowed.
