Weber Avenue, Stockton, California 1 p APPrZL 26 , 1978 <br /> FINDINGS --_ <br /> I. FINDINGS : <br /> A. This existing facility is a large volume transfer station. It consists <br /> of a large concrete slab with loading ramp , shredding and cardboard <br /> baling equipment. The facility is located at 2435 E . Weber Avenue, <br /> Stockton, San Joaquin County, California. Loads containing recoverable <br /> materials are dumped on the concrete slab . Wood, cardboard, and scrap <br /> metals are extracted manually or with a front end loader. The remain- <br /> ing waste materials are crushed with a crawler tractor or shredder and <br /> pushed up to the loading ramp into a compactor unit and hauled to the <br /> local sanitary landfill. Waste received are predominately group 2 <br /> wastes consisting of commercial solid wastes . <br /> Hazardous wastes are not accepted at the site. An average of 12 0 ,�4z <br /> cubic yards of wastes are processed per 8 hour period, 5 days per <br /> week. Additional information concerning the facility' s design and <br /> operation is included in the Plan of Operation for Large Volume <br /> Transfer Stations . <br /> B. There are no proposed changes in the facility's existing operation <br /> which will be implemented within the next five years . <br /> C. The following documents condition the design and operation of this <br /> facility: <br /> 1. Business Tax Certificate Number 9257 issued January 31, 1977 by <br /> the City of Stockton. <br /> 2. Fire Department Permit Number 1340/1081/2021 issued February 16 , . <br /> 1971 by the City of Stockton. <br /> This permit is granted solely to the operator named above, and isnot transferable. Upon a change of <br /> operator, this permit is subject to revocation. Upon a significant change in design or operation from <br /> that described in this permit or in attachments thereto for the existing design and operation of a <br /> facility operating immediately prior to August 15, 1977, or from the approved intended *design and <br /> operation of a facility which was not operating prior to August 15, 1977, or which herein is-granted <br /> a permit modification, this permit is subject to revocation, suspension, modification or other <br /> appropriate action. <br /> This permit does not authorize the operation of any facility contrary to the State Minimum Standards <br /> for Solid Waste Handling and Disposal.
