2-5 <br /> Section 17416.3. The equipment available at the RRF is listed in Table 1. The equipment <br /> varies dependent upon the type of operations being performed at the RRF; therefore, Table 1 <br /> indicates the use of the equipment. Not all the equipment listed on Table 1 may be present on <br /> the site, equipment will be brought on site as operations warrant their need. Standby <br /> equipment is discussed in Section 2.6.2. <br /> 2.6.1 Equipment Maintenance <br /> Besides daily maintenance (i.e., checking belts and fans, engines, hydraulic oil, fuel, blowing <br /> down dust, etc.), the RRF has implemented a preventive maintenance program to ensure the <br /> reliability of all equipment and vehicles. The maintenance program that routinely schedules all <br /> heavy equipment for servicing based on the number of hours the equipment has been in <br /> service (250 hours, 500 hours, 750 hours, 1000 hours, etc.). In-house personnel perform all <br /> maintenance and repairs. An outside vendor who specializes in the related area of equipment <br /> may be used for maintenance and/or repair, as needed. Equipment maintenance and <br /> operation must occur during the permitted hours of operation (see Section 2.2). Daily <br /> inspections are conducted related to vehicle and equipment operation. A copy of the <br /> maintenance form/checklist is included in Appendix C. <br /> 2.6.2 Standby Equipment <br /> RRF personnel continually evaluates the need for additional equipment for transfer operations. <br /> Any standby, specialized, or additional equipment can be leased or rented from local <br /> contractors or suppliers.
