The hazardous waste storage <br /> locker is located at the site's maintenance yard for wastes collected as part of the HVVEP. <br /> The storage |Oohar is a special chemical storage building that is kept locked. This area is <br /> designed for the handling and storage of hazardous wastes. including secondary <br /> containment, segregation Ofincompatible wastes, and approved storage containers, which <br /> are safe and convenient for storing identified wastes. Signage prohibiting unauthorized <br /> persona from entering the hazardous waste storage locker is posted around the site <br /> maintenance area. <br /> On-site hazardous waste storage will be limited 1o8Odays oras required by applicable state <br /> laws and regulations prior to being transported to a permitted treatment, storage and <br /> disposal facility (TSDF). The wastes may be removed prior tOthe 90 days, once the locker <br /> reaches 90 percent ofits capacity, whichever happens first. The "Accumulation Start Date" <br /> on the California hazardous waste label of each container hazardous waste will be <br /> monitored on a regular basis. Prior to shipment offsite, all materials will be overpacked and <br /> manifested with a licensed hazardous vvaeta hauler.
