Box 2009
Stockton, California 95201
Re: State Inspection Report -
Facility No. -
Dear Mr. Valinoti:
Independent Trucking Co., Inc.
39 -AA -0016
California Integrated Waste Management Board (Board) staff
conducted a State Inspection, in conjunction with an inspection by
Mr. Oliveira of your agency, of the Independent Trucking Co., Inc.
Large Volume Transfer Station on November 20, 1991, pursuant to
Division 30, Public Resources Code (PRC), Sections 43214 and
43219(b). The facility was evaluated for compliance with
applicable sections of the PRC and Title 14, California Code of
regulations (CCR) . Enclosed are two copies of the State Inspection
Report, one for your records and one to forward to the operator.
The overall appearance and condition of this facility was good. No
violations of applicable State laws and regulations were documented
during the inspection. However, one "area of concern" was noted
regarding facility compliance with the following State Minimum
Standard:
14 CCR 17486 Station Construction
Observations made during the inspection indicate that the operator
responds positively to enforcement efforts by your agency. All
violations and areas of concern documented during the June 20, 1991
State Inspection had been corrected by the date of this inspection.
Your staff is to be commended for providing the Board with monthly
SWIS inspection reports which not only detail current compliance
with State Minimum Standards but also provide follow-up information
on any previous problem areas.
Please work with the operator in addressing the "area of concern"
noted above. As always, this office is available to assist you.
-- Printed on Recycled Paper --
