Transfer Stmtlr, <br />Facility No. 39 -AA -0016 <br />Facility Inspection Report <br />Dear Mr. Valinoti: <br />California Integrated Waste Management Board (Board) staff <br />conducted an inspection of the Independent Trucking Co. Inc. <br />Transfer Station on September 20, 1990, pursuant to Division 30, <br />Public Resources Code (PRC), Sections 43303, 43304 and 44105. A <br />copy of the state inspection report is enclosed. <br />The facility was evaluated for compliance with applicable sections <br />of the PRC, and Title 14, California Code of Regulations (CCR), <br />Chapter 3 (State Minimum Standards for Solid Waste Handling and <br />Disposal) and Chapter 5 (Enforcement of Solid Wastes Standards and <br />Administration of Solid Wastes Facilities Permits). <br />The following violations of the CCR were documented during the <br />inspection: <br />14 <br />CCR <br />17481 <br />- Identification Sign <br />14 <br />CCR <br />17485 <br />- Visual.Screening <br />14 <br />CCR <br />17519 <br />- Processing operations <br />14 <br />CCR <br />17520 <br />- Storage of Salvage <br />14 <br />CCR <br />17538 <br />- Traffic Control <br />14 <br />CCR <br />17557 <br />- Station Maintenance Program <br />In addition, areas of concern were noted with the following section <br />of CCR: <br />14 CCR 17462 - Special Occurrences <br />14 CCR 17534 - Drainage Control <br />Please work with the operator to bring and maintain the facility <br />in compliance with State Minimum Standards. Should the operator <br />fail to achieve full regulatory compliance within a reasonable time <br />frame, Board staff may recommend that this site be placed on the <br />State List of Non -Complying Facilities, pursuant to PRC 44104. <br />
