H. Independent Trucking Company, Inc. has implemented a hazardous <br /> waste load checking program. All hazardous wastes are <br /> prohibited at the station. Every refuse load is inspected <br /> because every refuse load is separated for recycling purposes. <br /> All employees are trained through the station's safety program <br /> which includes the hazardous waste load checking program. <br /> Employees also attend the ` lfasic Hazardous 'Waste Awareness <br /> Course" given by the San Joaquin County Office of Emergency <br /> Services. <br /> At the entrance of the station a sign is posted prohibiting <br /> the disposal of hazardous waste at this facility. if <br /> hazardous wastes are encountered then the waste materials will <br /> be directed to an appropriate disposal site. <br /> Additional measures may be required upon the request of Local <br /> Enforcement Agency (L ) :and the Board. <br /> I. Anticipated changes in the design and operation in the next 5 <br /> years are: <br /> A. Expanding the storage area of the station into the <br /> non-permitted area. This area will be paved and a <br /> storm drainage will 'be installed. <br /> B. Used oil and used ,batteries may be accepted at the <br /> station and recycled. A plan of operation must be <br /> submitted to the Local Enforcement Agency before <br /> the handling of used oil and used batteries are <br /> approved. <br /> J. Hours of Operation: <br /> :00 A.M. 6:00 P.M. - Daily <br /> occasionally station o eratons 'wil be open after 6100 P.M. <br /> due to a ipment beakd `;rind maintenance. occasional late <br /> alive ofmterielsili `:b ' accepted. <br /> .. ... ...... . <br /> 2. The following list of agencies and documents that condition <br /> the operation end,use .o►f�f'adil <br /> a. Report of Station Information dated Septa e , 1991: <br /> b. Fire department permit No. 13122 issued by the City of <br /> Stockton dated May 23#' 1990. <br /> c. The City of Stockton does consider this facility a public <br /> project and does not require a' lad use permit. <br /> 3. The design and operation of I the facility is in compliance with <br /> the state minimum standards for solid waste handling and <br /> disposal as determined on September 24 1991. <br />
