Board Meeting Agenda Item 32 <br /> August 16-17,2005 Attachment 4 <br /> CALIFORNIA INTEGRATED WASTE MANAGEMENT BOARD <br /> Resolution 2005-222 <br /> Consideration Of A Revised Full Solid Waste Facilities Permit (Transfer/Processing Station) For <br /> The Lovelace Transfer Station, San Joaquin County <br /> WHEREAS, the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department, acting as the Local <br /> Enforcement Agency(LEA), has submitted to the Board for its review and concurrence with, or <br /> objection to, a revised full Solid Waste Facilities Permit for the Lovelace Transfer Station; and <br /> WHEREAS,the proposed permit will allow for an increase in the maximum vehicles per day <br /> from 487 to 1,280 vehicles per day; and <br /> WHEREAS, the San Joaquin Department of Public Works, acting as lead agency, prepared and <br /> circulated on April 28, 1993 an Environmental Impact Report (EIR), State Clearinghouse number <br /> 1992092072, to comply with the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) <br /> and the EIR was certified by the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors on July 15, 1993; and <br /> 4 <br /> WHEREAS, a Notice of Determination was filed by the CIWMB on April 5, 1994; and <br /> WHEREAS,the LEA has certified that the application package is complete and correct and that the <br /> proposed revised permit is supported by the existing CEQA documentation; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Board finds that the proposed permit is in compliance with CEQA; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Board staff have evaluated the proposed permit for consistency with the standards <br /> adopted by the Board; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Board has made a finding of conformance with San Joaquin County's Integrated <br /> Waste Management Plan; and <br /> (over) <br />
