To my knowledge, there is no temporary operation so if they notify I assume it's permanent however according to this webpage http://www.dtsc.ca.gov/database/CRT_Recyclers/alpha_list.cfm?letter=S San Joaquin County DOES NOT accept any CRT's from the public, so at the very least that will need to be updated with DTSC. DTSC does not keep a list of UWED (universal waste electronic device) treaters/recyclers like they do for CRT recyclers but UWED treaters (d ism antlers)/recyclers are required to notify DTSC in writing of this operation in addition to CRT recycling. Is the operation only a temporary operation? Since the sunset of the universal waste rule (2/8), they are expanding operation to dismantle u -waste (other than Video Display Devices and CRTs).
