Natalia Subbotnikova [EH]
From: Hohlwein, Reinhard [RHohlwein@ciwmb.ca.gov]
Sent: Wednesday, May 16, 2007 3:20 PM
To: Natalia Subbotnikova [EH]
Subject: RE: Lovelace Transfer Station & North County Landfill
Hi Natalia -what is the average tonnage/day at the TS recently? and what about at North County LF?
Will the combined avg. tonnage exceed the 825 maximum at the Landfill?
that would be my first concern....
also, is there a traffic limit at the Landfill that also might be exceded because of this possible site closure at the
TS?
thanks - Reinhard
From: Natalia Subbotnikova [EH] [mailto:nsubbotnikova@sjcehd.com]
Sent: Wednesday, May 16, 2007 10:48 AM
To: Hohlwein, Reinhard
Subject: Lovelace Transfer Station & North County Landfill
Reinhard,
San Joaquin County Public Works are planning to repair floor at the Lovelace Transfer Station and thinking to
shut down the facility for approximately 2 weeks. During this time they are planning to transfer all traffic to the
North County Landfill.
Permitted maximum tonnage for the North County Landfill is 825 tons per day.
Permitted maximum tonnage for the Lovelace Transfer Station is 1300 tons per day.
Permitted traffic volume for the Lovelace Transfer Station is 1280 vehicles per day.
After Public Works repairs the floor at the Lovelace Transfer Station it will shut down the North County Transfer
Station for the same reason but Landfill will be open.
We would like to know your opinion on this issue.
Thanks,
Natalia Subbotnikova, REHS
5/18/2007
