The amendment
application was updated and the final version was received by the EHD on November 2,2015. The EHD
has reviewed the amendment application as required by Title(T)27 California Code of Regulations
(CCR) §21665.
The amendment describes the relocation of the green waste are area to free-up space due to multiple
diversion activities that will allow the facility to operate at a higher level of efficiency.
The amendment meets the requirements described in T27 § 21665 regarding the California Environmental
Quality Act(CEQA), State Minimum Standards(SMS)for Transfer/Processing facilities and the Solid
Waste Facility Permit(SWFP).
The EHD has determined that the facility operation changes specified in this amendment:
• Will not create any adverse environmental impacts and are exempt from the requirements of
CEQA.
• Are acceptable and consistent with the SMS for Transfer/Processing facilities stated in Title 14,
Chapter 3,Articles 6.1-6.4.
• Do not conflict with the terms and conditions in the current SWFP.
The EHD approves and files the amendment without revising the SWFP.
Q"—
Robert McClellon, Program Coordinator, REHS
Environmental Health Department
cc: Taj M.
