To <br />monitor compliance with these requirements, a Load Checking Program has been implemented <br />and liquids ,,,high are prohibited at the site to prevent depositing such materials at the Lovelace <br />facility. The fallowing elements of the pregfarn have been initiated at the sitee: <br />➢ Prohibited materials include: <br />• <br />Chemicals or chemical sludge which is toxic, corrosive, an irritant, or a strong <br />sensitizer <br />• <br />Drugs <br />• <br />Infectious wastes <br />• • <br />Radioactive wastes <br />• <br />Flammables or explosives <br />• <br />Free liquids, including liquid residues in containers or cans which are greater than one <br />gallon in volume <br />• <br />Contaminated oil or fuel wastes <br />• <br />Pesticides or insecticides (properly neutralized and rinsed containers are allowed) <br />• <br />Bag house or air scrubber wastes <br />• <br />Asbestos wastes <br />• <br />Tank cleaning sludge or sediments <br />• <br />Contaminated soil or sand <br />Customers delivering prohibited materials to the Lovelace Transfer Station are responsible for <br />the handling and disposal of those materials. <br />➢ If prohibited wastes materials are delivered to the Lovelace <br />atm -Transfer Station and detected under the Load Checking Program, the responsible <br />customer will be requested to remove such waste materials from the site for disposal at a <br />properly designated disposal site.
