PA-0800005 <br /> PROPONENT: Tracy Material Recovery, Inc. <br /> PROJECT LOCATION:. The project site is located.on the west side of S. MacArthur Drive (APN/Address: <br /> 253-130-19,26; 307035. MacArthur Drive,Tracy)(Supervisorial District 5) <br /> REVISED PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Use Permit application for the expansion of an existing solid waste <br /> processing and recycling facility from 39.2 acres to 51.7 acres in two phases over twenty years with a <br /> maximum of 1,727 vehicles per day at final build out. Phase 1 to increase the daily waste capacity from <br /> 1,000 (tpd)to 1,800 (tpd)within ten years'and Phase 2 to increase the daily waste capacity from 1,800 (tpd) <br /> to 2,500(tpd)within twenty years. The project will employ 160 persons and operate 24 hours a day seven(7) <br /> days a week. All outdoor processing activities will not begin before 6:00 a.m. and will not operate after 10:00 <br /> p.m..on.site activities to include vehicle maintenance,.equipment storage.and truck..parking, construction and <br /> demolition of inert debris (cdi), processing wood waste grindings, appliance recycling, and associated waste <br /> handling activites. Proposed site improvements will include: (1) The addition of 19,200 square feet to the <br /> existing 57,200 square foot material recovery facility and transfer station building. (2) Addition of 10,500 <br /> square feet to the existing maintenance and administration building. (3) Construction of a one(1) mega-watt <br /> wood waste bio-mass-gasification unit for on-site energy use only. The project site is not under a Williamson <br /> Act contract. <br /> Based on the attached Initial Study, it has been found that the project will not have a significant effect on the <br /> environment. <br /> Date: <br /> Contact Personal John.L.
