Training <br /> All new hires will be trained on proper handling of syringes and or needles. <br /> All employees will wear proper PPE (gloves, safety glasses,bump cap). <br /> All employees are instructed on proper technique on sort line to limit exposure of <br /> hazards. <br /> All employees are instructed on proper disposal of hazardous material. <br /> All employees will be retrained on a yearly or as needed basis. <br /> Hepatitis B Vaccination <br /> Tracy Delta Solid waste will provide training to employees on Hepatitis B vaccinations, <br /> addressing safety, benefits, and availability. <br /> The Hepatitis B Vaccination series will be offered to all employees who incur a needle <br /> stick, at no cost to the employee. <br /> Vaccination will be provided by Tracy Delta Solid waste Workers Comp. provider. <br /> 21 <br />
