"�'•• tila •1'1'i• 7 <br /> U' <br /> e5'.. <br /> J. <br /> - <br /> litt <br /> of <br /> • General Watering:The j <br /> construction contractor shall ! <br /> control fugitive dust emissions <br /> during land clearing, grubbing, <br /> scraping, excavation, land a <br /> leveling, grading, cut and fill, } <br /> and demolition activities by <br /> watering the construction site a <br /> minimum of two times daily <br /> when soil conditions are dry. <br /> Dirt Hauls:When materials are <br /> transported offsite, the <br /> construction contractor shall <br /> ensure that all material is <br /> covered or effectively wetted to <br /> limit visible dust emissions, and <br /> at least 24 inches of freeboard <br /> space from the top of <br /> containers shall be maintained. <br /> Dirt Carryout/Trackout:The <br /> construction contractor shall <br /> install and maintain an <br /> approved carryout and trackout <br /> prevention procedure(e.g., <br /> grisslies,gravel pads, paved <br /> interior roads)at the <br /> construction ingress/egress. <br /> The construction contractor <br /> shall remove mud or dirt that <br /> has accumulated on adjacent <br /> public streets at the end of <br /> each workday. In addition, <br /> carryout/trackout shall be <br /> immediately removed when it <br /> extends 50 feet or more <br /> beyond the site exit. <br /> Carryout/trackout shall be <br /> removed by manually <br /> sweeping, using a rotary brash <br /> broom accompanied or <br /> preceded by sufficient wetting, <br /> operating a PM10-efficient <br /> street sweeper with a minimum <br /> pick-up efficiency of 80 percent, <br /> or flushing with water if curbs or <br /> gutters are not present and <br /> where the use of water will not <br /> be a source of trackout material <br /> or result in adverse impacts on <br /> stormwater drainage systems. <br /> San Joaquin County PA-08000051Tracy Material Recovery <br /> Community Development Page 20 <br />
