(Tracy) implements a Load Checking Program
(Program) to address load check requirements in Title 14 Minimum Standards for Solid
Waste Handling and Disposal, Section 17409.5 and other regulations preventing the
acceptance and improper handling of hazardous and prohibited waste. The primary
objective of the Program is to reduce, to the extent possible, the acceptance of
household hazardous waste and prohibited waste at this facility and to prevent further
disposal of prohibited waste at receiving landfills.
