'c- <br /> 61 <br /> x 17414(a)-Weight and Volume Record <br /> Comments: Weight and volume records for January 2013 to March 2013 were reviewed. According to the <br /> records,the facility receives over 15 tons of solid waste per operating day(but less than 100 tons per day) <br /> regularly. The facility exceeds the limits of the'limited volume transfer operation"notification tier. Based on the <br /> tonnage records,the facility falls under the category of"medium volume transfer/processing facility." <br /> 1. "Limited Volume Transfer Operation" means an operation that receives less than 60 cubic <br /> yards, or 15 tons of solid waste per operating day for the purpose of storing the waste prior <br /> to transferring the waste to another solid waste operation or facility. <br /> 2. "Medium Volume Transfer/Processing Facility"means a facility that receives equal to or more <br /> than 60 cubic yards or 15 tons of solid waste per operating day but less than 100 tons of <br /> solid waste, for the purpose of storing or handling the waste prior to transferring the waste <br /> to another solid waste operation or facility. <br /> 3. Complete and submit the Registration Permit Application to begin the process of obtaining a <br /> registraion permit(tier)as a medium volume transfer/processing facility. <br /> Routine quarterly transfer station inspection conducted on this date and the following was noted: <br /> 1. Previous area of concern regarding not having rodent traps around the facility has been <br /> corrected. Rodent traps were observed on site. There was one trap that was sprung and <br /> there appeared to be residual material on the trap from the rodent that sprung it. <br /> There was no mention of this in the'Pest Sighting Log." <br /> 2. Previous area of concern regarding not having an eye wash station has been corrected. <br /> An eye wash station was observed on site. <br /> 3. Facility contact, Kevin Clutter, provided the required documentation. <br /> 4. Documentation showing daily tracking of the rodent traps and bait stations was on site <br /> and available for review(Pest Sighting Log). <br />
