Fly breeding observed in spilled feed pile under feed hoppers Organic 6A1 and 6A2. Ensure feed <br /> spills are cleaned up immediately to prevent fly breeding. Increase use of fly bait outdoors to <br /> control fly population. <br /> 2. A pile of eggs was observed outside of house# 10 on the northwest side. According to facility <br /> the pile had not been cleaned in 2 weeks. Dispose of eggs immediately and continually monitor <br /> location for spilled eggs. <br /> Notes: <br /> • Approximately 546,000 birds onsite during this inspection <br /> • All houses are checked daily for mortality. Mortality is incinerated onsite. <br /> • Rodent bait stations were observed onsite. Ensure bait stations are properly placed to ensure <br /> effectiveness. <br /> • Inspected building# 6(organic). House is cleaned at minimum twice a week. <br /> • Inspected building#5 (Caged). Currently facility is having issues with leaking nipples inside this <br /> house which is causing the manure get wet. <br /> • Manure belt dryer between houses 2 and 3 is not in operation. <br /> • House# 1 (organic)was inspected. Approximately 16000 birds inside. <br /> • House# 10(caged)was inspected. Approximately 196000 birds inside. This house has 3 levels <br /> accessible by stairs. House has its own manure belt dry system. <br /> • Manure was spread out to dry on the west side of the south unit. According to facility there was a <br /> week's worth of manure onsite. <br /> • House# 14(caged)was inspected. This is a 6 deck house. <br /> • House# 13 (offset caged)was inspected. This house utilizes a cable scraper to remove manure. <br /> The scraper is run twice a day. <br /> • Construction materials were observed around south unit. House# 8 is still under construction. <br /> Ensure all construction material and debris is removed once construction is completed. <br /> • There are no lagoons onsite. Area where the lagoons and been previously located has been <br /> leveled and is being used to grow almond trees. Material scraped out of the lagoons is now <br /> located on the south end of the facility <br />
